Funeral services for Karl C. Kern, 89, a retired postal employe and former superintendent of the Post Office substation in Nickels Arcade, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Muehlig Chapel. The Rev. Henry Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Kern died yesterday at his home at 551 S. Fifth Ave. after an illness of two years.
Friends may call at the chapel.
