Long-Time Resident
Of Ann Arbor Dies
Mrs. Mary Ann Foster, 72,
wife of K. Fred Foster, died
lursday at St. Joseph Mercy
Hospital after a long illness.
For the past 42 years, the cou-
ple had lived at 712 S. Division.
Mrs. Foster wa^ born Aug.
17, 1886, at Hamburg, Mich.,
the daughter of Lewis and
Melvina Braun. She married
Mr. Foster on July 26, 1910.
Mrs. Foster was the second
oldest member of the Lois Re-
behak Lodge No. 115 here. A
former Noble Grand of the
lodge, she was a charter mem-
ber of the Past Noble Grands.
Besides her husband, sur-
vivors include a daughter, Mrs.
Lee Gray of Ann Arbor; four
sons, Calvin B., Louis C., Rob-
ert J. and Donald W., all of
Ann Arbor; 11 grandchildren;
and a brother, William H.
Braun of DeTour, Michs
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Sunday at the Muehlig Chapel.
The Rev. J. Leslie French will
officiate. Burial will be in
Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends
may call at the chapel.
