Mrs. Harold Malloy
Mrs. Melita Malloy, 57, of 401 W. Snyder Ave., died Wednesday noon at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital following an illness of five weeks.
Mrs. Malloy was born May 28, 1901, in Lodi township, a daughter of Jacob and Clara Schmid Young. She and Harold J. Malloy were married on Jan. 5, 1924. He survives.
She was a member of Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. John Johnston of Plymouth; two grandsons; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Theil of Owosso, Mrs. Herman Janousky and Mrs. Louis Staudenmaier, both of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Martin Julian of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Muehlig Chapel, with the Rev. Ernest Klaudt officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
