Drug Store Tells Partnership Change

Don W. Robinson of 1629 Sheridan Dr. has bought from Daniel H. Schurz a half-interest in the Wikel-Schurz Drugs of 340 S. State St.

The announcement was made today by Howard D. Wikel who owns the other half-interest in the S. State firm and is the owner of the Wikel Drug Co. of 1101 S University Ave.

Robinson purchased the half-interest as a business investment and will continue to work as the local agent for Mutual of New Jersey Life Insurance Co., Wikel said.

Robinson is a former University football backfield coach and was a halfback and quarterback on the U-M varsity during the 1941, 1942 and 1947 seasons.

The ownership change will not result in any change of the drug firm’s name, Wikel said.
