Lester Company Takes Over WOIA
Lester Broadcasting Co. announced today it has purchased radio station WOIA of near Saline from the Saline Broadcasting Co., and is now the station's owner-operator She sale was approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
WOIA is on dawn-to-dusk - broadcasting schedule and has been in operation since last year. It covers all of Washtenaw county and portions of a five-county area in southeastern Michigan, operating with 500 watts of power.
Herbert W. Lester of 2313 Devonshire Rd. is president treasurer of Lester Broadcasting.
