Alger County Banker Dies Here
Funeral services for John M. Bush, 83, a retired official for the Cleveland Cliffs Iron Co. and president of the First National Bank of Alger county, were held at 9 a.m. today at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Mr. Bush died Saturday at the Michigan Union, where he had lived for the last two years.
He was born Feb. 6, 1876, at Buckingham, Ottawa, Canada, the son of Michael and Mary Ann Cosgrove and lived most of his life in the Upper Peninsula. His wife, Mrs. Margaret Bush, died in 1930.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard Leutheuser of Ann Arbor; a son, Richard A. of Albert Lea, Minn.; seven grandchildren; a brother, William of Hibbing, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Chase B. Youngs of Florence, Wis.
The body will be sent to Ironwood for burial. Friends may make memorial contributions to the Bay Cliff Health Camp at Marquette.
