[image]:  MEMORIAL TREES: This is a group of redbud trees planted at Riverside Park in honor of the city’s servicemen killed during World War II. Members of the A. C. Estabrook Relief Corps, since disbanded, dedicated the trees at Riverside during the war. Some also are located at Allmendinger Park. Names of the men in whose honor the trees were planted were placed on bronze plates on the ground. Vandals have stolen some of them.
