Curtiss Services
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Muehlig Chapel for Orie E. Curtiss, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton D. Curtiss of 913 S. Main St., who died Friday of gunshot wounds in a hunting accident.
The youth was born Feb. 16, 1945, in Ann Arbor, and was a ninth-grade student at Slauson Junior High School. He was a member of Slauson's ninth-grade chorus that performs locally in the community, and was active in the Ann Arbor Optimist Rifle Club.
Besides his parents, survivors are three brothers, Dewitt C., Robert P. and Fred G., all at home; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Ada Haynes of Ann Arbor; and paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Race of Brighton.
The Rev. E. C. Stellhorn will officiate at funeral services. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel.
