Afternoon Ceremony Unites Anne Marcy, Dr. Teppo
First Presbyterian Church, Marcellus, N.Y., was the scene of the Saturday afternoon rites which united in marriage Anne Louise Marcy, daughter of Mrs. Wilfred C. MacIntyre, Marcellus, N.Y., and the late Harold C. Marcy, and Dr. Kenneth William Teppo, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Teppo, Princeton St. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Keith R. Shinaman.
The former Miss Marcy wore a full-length gown of silk and re-embroidered alencon lace with a court train. Her fingertip illusion veil was held by a cap of alencon lace.
Mrs. James H. Davis, Saline, was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Marilyn Teppo, sister of the bridegroom from Ann Arbor; Mrs. B. David Wilson, Pontiac, and Mrs. Robert Dorchester, Marcellus.
Marvin Katz, Ann Arbor, acted as best man. The guests were seated by Thomas E. Kauper, Washington, D.C.; Dr. James H. Davis, Saline, and Dr. James R. Tenniswood, Armada.
After a reception in the church parlors, the newlyweds left for a week’s honeymoon in Northern New York. The couple will be living in Alaska where Dr. Teppo will be stationed with the U.S. Army.
The new Mrs. Teppo was graduated from Cornell University where she was affiliated with Delta, Delta, Delta sorority. She was also a graduated student at the U-M. Dr. Teppo received his BA and DDS degrees from the U-M, where he was affiliated with Delta Sigma Delta professional fraternity.
