Frank J. Glen, 89, who formerly lived at 631 E. University Ave., died today at the Saline Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Glen was a tailor prior to retiring five years ago after operating a shop at 629 E. University for many years.
He was born Feb. 15, 1872, in London, Ontario, Canada, a son of John and Elizabeth Glen. He was married to Alta Lee Lyon on Dec. 24, 1898. She died on Sept. 10, 1952.
Mr. Glen was a member of the local Elks Lodge, a life member of Fraternity Lodge No. 262, F&AM, and a life member of the Ann Arbor Commandery No. 13, Knights Templar.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Harrie J. Glen of Cullowhee, N. C.; a daughter, Mrs. G. B. Fletcher of Ann Arbor; a grandson, William F. Glen of Kalamazoo; two great-grandchildren; and a brother William Glen of Royal Oak.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Muehlig Chapel.
