Mrs. Ralph Bertoni

Mrs. Marguerita A. Bertoni, 69, widow of Ralph A. Bertoni, died Monday evening at the Whitehall Convalescent Home, Pittsfield township, after a long illness. She formerly lived at 420 Felch St.
She was born March 22, 1892, in Lockhaven, Pa., the daughter of Angelo and Rosa Solari Rovegno. She moved to Genoa, Italy, with her parents in 1894, and was married to Mr. Bertoni there on Feb. 4, 1910. The couple came to Ann Arbor on Sept. 13, 1913. She had lived here since that time.
Mr. Bertoni preceded her in death on March 26, 1945. A son, Robert, died in infancy.
Mrs. Bertoni was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. D. (Toni) Royce and Mrs. William (Marguerite) Oliver, both of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. John (Nancy) Lager of Madison, Wis.; three sons, Andrew A. of Northville, Eugene N. and Richard R., both of Ann Arbor; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A brother, Nicholas Rovegno of Detroit, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Muehlig Chapel where friends may call.
