Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Muehlig Chapel for Henry W. Clement, 57, of 558 Sixth St., who died Thursday while driving the Fire Department’s ladder truck to a fire scene.
Mr. Clement, who had been a fireman here since 1934, was born March 10, 1904, in Livonia, a son of Lemuel and Minnie Shields Clement. Her married Marion Fisher on Oct. 1, 1923, in Ann Arbor. She survives.
Other survivors are a son, Douglas H. of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Dersham, Mrs. Howard (Norma) Weaver and Mrs. Richard (Harriet) Semark, all of Ann Arbor; nine grandchildren and his mother of Livonia.
Other survivors are two brothers, Harry of Ann Arbor and Roy of Salem, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs William Badelt of Ovid, Mich., and Mrs. Harry Crawford of Livonia; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Vaughn Whited will officiate at the funeral services. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel.
