THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE: Former principal of Stone School from 1927-29 Herman C. Frinkle of Newport Rd. offers a helping hand to nursery school children who now occupy the building. Stone School Nursery will give an open house at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the present building. Working at a new tool bench in the basement of the school, which was used for meetings when Mr. Frinkle was principal, are (left to right) Richard Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Daniel Robbins of Ridge Ave., David DeMitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mario DeMitchell of Carpenter Rd., and Michael Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Smith of Kensington Dr.
