Mrs. Penniman Dies At Age 103
Ypsilanti Woman Succumbs In Hospital
YPSILANTI — Mrs. Ida M. Penniman, 103-year-old native of this area, died yesterday at an area hospital. She lived at 417 Emmet St.
Mrs. Penniman was born March 26, 1859, in Superior township, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Moore, and married W. I. Penniman. He preceded her in death.
She was a resident her entire life of the Ypsilanti area, and was the oldest living member of the First Methodist Church. She is survived by several cousins.
A daughter, Mrs. Florence Kenney, preceded her in death last March 15.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Stevens & Bush Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert P. Ward officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
