Clarence Muirhead
Clarence Muirhead, 69, of 4810 Stein Rd., Scio township, died Thursday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 1, 1892, in Lebanon, Tenn., a son of Richard and Julia Walker Muirhead, and married Sara Alberta Grayer on March 18, 1945, in Toledo. She survives.
He was a member of the Bethel AME Church and St. Mary's Lodge No. 4.
Besides his wife, survivors are a brother, Erbra of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Doretta Taylor of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Safronia Anderson of Orange, N.J.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bethel AME Church, with the Rev. Lyman S. Parks officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at Lucille's Funeral Home of Ypsilanti beginning Saturday.
