Lillie Lowry, 90, of 2081/2 South Ashley St., died yesterday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Webster township Dec. 14, 1871, a daughter of Robert and Fannie Howell Alexander. She lived in the Ann Arbor area all her life.
Since 1948 she resided with her daughter, Mrs. Vera Crossman, on Ashley St.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J., in 1948.
Mrs. Lowry is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Crossman; a niece, Mrs. Jessie Bruckner of Dexter; and a nephew, Chalmers Alexander of Webster township.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Staffan Funeral Home. The Rev. L. Burlin Main will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery at Whitmore Lake. Friends may call at the funeral home.
