Edward A. Bauer, 32, of Whitmore Lake, pleaded guilty to drunk driving—$65 fine and court costs.

Hansell E. Evans, 53, of Jackson, waived examination on charge of larceny in a building--bound to Circuit Court to appear today, $500 bond set.

Diana E. Loy, alias Dianna E. Lonsberry, 20, of Detroit, waived examination on charge of cashing three insufficient funds checks within 10 days— bound to Circuit Court for an appearance today, $200 bond ordered.

David W. Schlecht, 17, of 221 Kenwood Ave., waived examination on charge of larceny in a building — bound to Circuit Court for an appearance today, $250 bond set.

Theodore Bass, 31, of 921 Woodlawn Ave., waived examination on charge of obtaining property under false pretenses —bound to Circuit Court for appearance today, $500 bond set.

Wall M. Malik, 33, of 308 Westwood Ave., examination held on charge of issuing three insufficient funds checks in a 10-day period—bound to Circuit Court for an appearance Sept. 14, $25 bond.

Mark E. Yenner, 18, of 402 Potter St., pleaded guilty to attempting to purchase intoxicants with false identification— $20 fine.

Donald K. Loepke, 20, of 903 Fifth St., waived examination on charge of violation of the state’s financial responsibility law—bound to Circuit Court for Sept. 7, $50 bond.

Joyce W. Hoch, alias Joyce W. Johnson, 20, of Detroit,

waived examination on charge of issuing three insufficient funds check within 10 days— bound to Circuit Court for Sept. 7, $200 bond ordered.

Donald P. Smashey, 19, of 560 S. Main St., pleaded guilty to assault and battery reduced from assault with intent to commit criminal assault—$35 fine.

Glen A. Miller, 20, of 761 Lakeview Ave., pleaded guilty to simple larceny—$15 court costs and restitution ordered.

William A. West, 32, of 1221 S. University Ave., pleaded guilty on a morals charge—$35 fine.

Claude R. Smedley, 19, of 817 Pauline Blvd., pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property under the value of $100—$25 fine and court costs.

William H. Smedley, 18, of 619 Wesley St., pleaded guilty to simple larceny—$25 fine.

Circuit Court

Marvin Garner, 20, of 436 Madison St., Ypsilanti—five years’ probation, $285 fine and costs, 90 days in the County Jail as of June 2, and $460 restitution pro-rated with two others convicted with him for breaking and entering in the nighttime.

Myron Stone, 21, of Stockbridge—two to five years in Southern Michigan Prison for unlawfully driving away an auto.

James Vrataric, 18, of 930 Sherwood St.—five years probation, $310 fine and costs, $55.50 restitution for forgery and uttering and publishing a forged check.

J. Z. Winter, 35, of 1404 Holmes Rd., Ypsilanti township —two years’ probation, $225 fine and costs, three days in the County Jail for violation of the state alcohol tax act.

Roland H. Sever, 42, of the Willow Run Hotel—five years’ probation, $224 fine and costs, 45 days in jail with credit for 44 already served, $225 restitution for three insufficient funds checks within 10 days.

Gale Reynolds, 25, of 206 S. Thayer St.—five years’ probation, $310 fine and costs, 45 days in the County Jail on weekends with credit for time spent in an institution for a morals charge.

Nathaniel W. Simmons, 27, of 812 N. River St., Ypsilanti—3 to 15 years in Southern Michigan Prison, as of June 28, for breaking and entering in the nighttime.
