David Seitz

David Seitz, 87, of 427 Fourth St., died Sunday morning at his home following a long illness.
Mr. Seitz was born Oct. 25, 1875, in Saline, the son of Henry and Kathryn Wenner Seitz.
He married Julia Hieber in Ann Arbor in April, 1906. She preceded him in death in February, 1920.
He is survived by Emma Sommer Seitz whom he married Sept. 18, 1923.
Mr. Seitz was a carpenter most of his life. He was employed as a custodian at Zion Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, for 25 years prior to his retirement in 1947.
Other survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. George (Florence) Clark and Mrs. Kenneth (Elsie) Ault; a son Arlo; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd Wirth, Mrs. Carl Sweet, and Mrs. Clara Laubengayer; a brother, Emmanuel; and several nieces and nephews. All survivors are from Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Ralph B. Piper officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
