YPSILANTI - Gust Nastos, 36, of 9595 Platt Rd., Milan, died early today at his home. He owned and operated an insurance agency in Ypsilanti.
A lifelong resident of York township, he was born at Laingsburg on Feb. 13, 1927, a son of Gustave S. and Mary Hier Nastos. He was married to Marion C. Lutz at the Stony Creek Methodist Church on June 9, 1951.
He was a member of the Stony Creek Methodist Church and treasurer of its Men's Club. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion Post 282.
He is survived by his wife and four sons, Michael G., Mark A., Gary E. and Gregg R., all at home; a brother, George of Ypsilanti; a sister, Mrs. Helen Parker of New York City, and one aunt.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Stevens & Bush Funeral Home in Ypsilanti at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. William E. Frayer officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stony Creek Methodist Church Building Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
