Mrs. Rubie Geneva Fraser, 54, died this morning at her home, 84 Valhalla Dr., after a long illness.
She was born April 15, 1909, at Grass Creek, Ind., a daughter of Samuel and Eva Banes Nichol.
She came to Ann Arbor in 1922, and had attended the U-M. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
On July 12, 1932, she was married to Ernest R. Fraser of Ann Arbor. He survives.
Also surviving are a son, Donald B. of Livonia; one granddaughter, three sisters, Mrs. Eula Bonnell of Mishawaka, Ind., Mrs. Elma French of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Ruth Keeney of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three brothers, L. R. Nichol of St. Clair, Mich., Paul Nichol of San Diego, Calif., and Ralph Nichol of Boston, Mass.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Richard Cockrell will officiate. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel until noon Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
