Memorial Mass / Campus Mourns
MEMORIAL MASS: Hundreds of Ann Arborites attended a memorial high mass at 5:45 p.m. yesterday in St. Thomas Catholic Church in tribute to the late President John F. Kennedy. The Rev. Gerald Nitoski (at the altar), assistant pastor at St. Thomas, sang the mass. A replica of Mr. Kennedy's flag-covered casket was present.
CAMPUS MOURNS: Hill Auditorium was filled with students and faculty yesterday at a memorial service for the late President John F. Kennedy. Among those participating were Harlan Hatcher, University president; Eugene B. Power, University regent; the Men's Glee Club and religious leaders of the community.
