Mrs. Grossman
MANCHESTER - Mrs. Lydia S. Grossman, 89, died yesterday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. She lived for more than 60 years until 1964, at 9670 Grossman, Manchester Township.
Mrs. Grossman was born Sept. 11, 1875, in Manchester, a daughter of John and Anna Gieske Staebler, and was married to Fred Grossman Nov. 19, 1896. He died March 16, 1964.
Mrs. Grossman was a member of the Manchester Methodist Church.
Survivors are a son, Ralph, of Chelsea and a daughter, Lowell (Alta) Parr of Manchester Township. A great-great grandchild is also among her survivors.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Jenter Funeral Home in Manchester, with the Rev. Jesse Epps officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
