Girl Says Students Put Her In Shower
City police detectives are checking a report by a 14-year old girl that she was pushed into a shower and the water was turned on because she walked across the lawn of a University fraternity house.
The girl told officers she and two girl companions walked along a path across the lawn of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house at S. University and Washtenaw Ave. about 6:50 p.m. yesterday. She said several young men ran from the fraternity house and one seized her.
The teenager said she was taken to the third floor of the house, pushed under a shower and the water was turned on. She said she was told, “This will teach you to cut across our lawn."
