Miss Bertha Horning
Miss Bertha P. Horning, 65, of 525 Third, died last night at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Miss Horning, who was employed at B. E. Muehlig, Inc., for 47 years before she retired earlier this year, was born Dec. 31, 1899, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of Christian and Caroline Seyfried Horning. She never married.
Miss Horning was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School and the Hamilton Business College and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Carl (Louise) Buhl of Detroit, and two brothers, A. C. Horning and Karl W. Horning, both of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Muehlig Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph B. Piper officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
Memorial contributions may , be made to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
