This year was one of changes in the administrative heads of St. Thomas and University Schools.

At St. Thomas, Mother M. Deodata, IHM, was appointed the school’s new principal in August. She replaced Mother Stephane, IHM, who was assigned as principal of St. Mary’s High School at Redford.

At University School, Director Robert S. Fox returned to his post last fall after a year’s absence during which he taught at the University of Barota in India. Fox relieved William H. Mills who served as acting director for the year.

Enrollment at both schools remained constant in 1965. Enrollment in University School was about 200 at the elementary level and about 340 at the junior senior high level. St. Thomas had about 650 students enrolled in grades one through eight and about 345 in grades nine through 12.
