Mrs. Leo Borders, widow of the deputy sheriff who was killed Aug. 3 pursuing a speeding car near Portage Lake, gave birth to a daughter Dawn Renee, yesterday.
Mrs. Borders and the infant are in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
She has another small daughter, Sara. She lives in Chelsea.
