Prof. Elizabeth A. Green, a member of the School of Music faculty and a lecturer in the School of Education at the University will be honored as one of seven state instructors as "teachers of the year."
Miss Green, who lives at 1225 Ferdon, has been selected by the Michigan Federation of Music Clubs to be feted at the May 27 Michigan Youth Arts Festival in Kalamazoo. The festival chairman said that the teachers were chosen by their respective professional music organizations.
The U-M faculty member was picked by the Michigan branch of the American String Teachers Association.
