Johnson Jury Deliberating After Lockup

Jury deliberations entered the second day today in the murder trial of William W. Johnson. The jury was locked up overnight after beginning deliberations yesterday afternoon.

Testimony began and ended yesterday on the June 26 slaying of Mrs. Mary L. Taylor, who was allegedly shot by Johnson, 54, of 421 N. Fourth Ave., with a .38 caliber revolver.

Mrs. Taylor died the next day at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital following brain surgery.
