Age 71, died Thursday at his home. Born February 13, 1897 in England, the son of William and Mary Spence, he married Pauline Jaeggie March 6, 1920. Mr. Spence was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Canadian Army and had lived in Ann Arbor since 1928. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gordon of Ann Arbor, Ted of Chelsea, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday from the Muehlig Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Warner H. Sibert officiating. Burial in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral chapel.
