Sister Thomasina, retired teacher at St. Thomas School, was escorted by a former pupil, Judge John W. Conlin, at a dinner to honor the sisters of the Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary last night at the Michigan Union. Between $9,000 and $10,000 was donated by the 260 persons attending. The dinner honored the nuns on their 100th anniversary in Ann Arbor and opened a $250,000 drive to finance a new convent. Sister Thomasina, now of Monroe, lived at the St. Thomas parish convent when it opened in 1911.
