An enrollment increase from 184 to 208 at St. Paul's Lutheran School has brought about the addition of a second grade there.
Before it was split, the class would have numbered 42. There are now eight teachers for the kindergarten through sixth grades. Hours have been moved ahead by 30 minutes, so that this year the classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m.
St. Paul's, located at 495 Earhart Road on the Concordia Jr. College Campus, has grown steadily since it opened with 69 students five years ago. There will be service for parents and children at 8:45 a.m. Sept. 5, the first day of classes.
