Carport Addition Work Progresses
Work is progressing on Ann Arbor’s unique addition to the Maynard carport which extends above Maynard Street to rest atop the addition being constructed on Jacobson’s. The $1,694,954 project is expected to be completed in its entirety by May with opening for parking in April. The addition will park 300 more automobiles. General contractor for the project—being paid from parking system revenues— is Utley-James, Inc.
