Age 77, died Monday morning in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital following an illness of several weeks. He was born Sept. 1, 1891 in Saginaw the son of William C. and Rachel Atkins. On Oct. 5, 1915, he married Josephine Ourada, and they had resided here since that time. During the Depression Mr. Eddy was superintendent of construction for the Ann Arbor WPA. Mr. Eddy was president of the William F. Eddy, Inc., and a member of the Golden Rule Masonic Lodge 159 F & AM, the Elks Lodge 325, the Moose Lodge and the Grotto. Survivors include: his wife; one son, Robert W. who is associated with his father in business; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Charles J. Gensheimer officiating. Entombment will take place in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel beginning Tuesday noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washtenaw County Humane Society.
