Chief Krasny said Trans-Love Emergies, part of the local White Panther movement, still are partial sponsors of the Hurkos appearance, as far as he understands.
"Unless something has changed, the White Panthers are aiding in this appearance," Krasny said. "One of their spokesman tells us they're raising funds. Assertions that revolutionaries and hippies are not included in this fund-raising are of course not true."
