Lindner, Robert E.

Age 49, died suddenly yesterday in Toledo. He was born June 27, 1920 in Granite City, Ill., the son of Robert D. and Stella E. Cochran Lindner. He had been an Ann Arbor resident the past six years. Mr. Lindner was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He served as captain in the U.S. Air Force Medical Service Corps for 20 years, retiring in 1962. Mr. Lindner recently was employed by Professional Management. Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Michael and John; three daughters, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Nancy, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Hammond of Battle Creek and Mrs. Marilyn Young of Granite City, Ill.; one brother, James, of Granite City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Father Bob Lemanek officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
