The Zion Lutheran Church Retirement Center has announced substantial progress on two fronts in the development of a new full-service retirement living complex in Ann Arbor.

Preliminary drawings for the Zion center are now being completed by R. W. Clinton and Associates, an architectural firm from Richmond, Ind.

The center has also attained a significant financial plateau. Financing for its development is being obtained through the sale of debentures—the first $250,000 have now been sold.

The debentures may be bought by any interested investor in minimum amounts of $1,000.

The Zion center will be located on a 34-acre site on Earhart Road near US-23. Construction plans are expected to be completed by the end of this year. Applications for residence will be accepted at that time.
