Age 49, died suddenly Sunday morning at the University of Michigan Hospital. She was born January 8, 1920 in Tazwell, Virginia the daughter of Leonard and Hannah Ramsey. She was employed at Dexter IGA. She had been a resident of the Dexter area since 1955. Survivors include: two sons, Thommy L. Hardy of Portage Lake and Samuel A. Hardy of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Irene) Westphal of Roscommon, Michigan, and Miss Hannah J. hardy, student at Eastern Michigan University; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Sands of Terryville, Conn.; Mrs. Gladys Pruitt of Bishop, Virginia, and Mrs. Michael Gallagher of Bristol, Conn.; two brothers, Mr. Durant Ramsey of Richmond, Virginia, and Donald Ramsey of Bristol, Conn.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Hosmer Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. John F. Roschen officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrews Cemetery.
