Having some fun one day recently at the National Music Camp at Interlochen are the five Ann Arborites attending the camp on scholarships from the local "Our Own Thing" organization, along with Willis Patterson, president of the Board of Directors of Our Own Thing. The students are (from left) Peter Young, Crystal Green, Lynette Allison, Deborah Beverly and Forbes Dabney. Our Own Thing, which provides music and cultural instruction for local youngsters, especially black youths, raised the money through donations and other activities. The music camp program ended this week.
