Age 74, passed away Thursday at the Chelsea Medical Center after an extended illness. Born February 6, 1896, in Sharon Township, she was the daughter of George and Barbara Rehfuss Romelhardt. Mrs. Wellhoff was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area. On March 14, 1913, she married Albert Wellhoff; he survives. Mrs. Wellhoff was a member of the Manchester MOMS Club. Survivors, besides her husband, include: three sons, Arthur of Norvell, Norman of Napoleon, Oren of Brooklyn; seven daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Hazel) Landwehr, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Service, Mrs. George (Fern) Roth, all of Manchester, Mrs. Glen (Mildred) Stites of Onsted, Mrs. David (Viola) Cook of Southgate, Mrs. James (Vera) Davison of Oxford, Mrs. Carroll (Eleanor) Klopp of Brighton; 37 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Romelhardt of Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Herman of Manchester and Mrs. Ina Dunney of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by one brother and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Jenter Funeral Home, Manchester, with the Rev. Paul Collins officiating. Burial will be made in Sharon Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
