Condemned Hotel Being Razed
In the wake of a court order to demolish the Town House Hotel, a contractor finished a process which started when the northeast corner of the three-story vacated building collapsed on June 13. At that time debris from the hotel, which was built in 1845, fell on a house but no one was hurt. The structure had been condemned and vacated since Aug. 7, 1970. Razing work was in progress yesterday. (News Photo by Jack Stubbs.)
