Age 92, passed away Wednesday at the Whitmore Lake Convalescent Center following a long illness. She was born June 6, 1879 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Steven and Arabell Drake Adams. She had been a life-long resident of Ann Arbor and the oldest member of the Bethel AME Church. Surviving are a son, John of Ann Arbor; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two nephews, Foster and Vernon, both of Ann Arbor; and a niece, Mrs. Iva Felder of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Bethel AME Church with Rev. John A. Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Staffan Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Saturday and at the church until the time of service.
