Age 72, passed away suddenly yesterday. Mr. Stollsteimer was born April 4, 1890 in Lodi Township, the son of Theodore and Louise Fritz Stollsteimer. He had been a resident of Washtenaw County his entire life. In 1960 he married Jessie Humphrey and she survives. Mr. Stollsteimer was a member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Eagles and Moose Lodges, and had formerly been employed by Muehlig and Lamphear Hardware and the University of Michigan. Survivors besides his wife include: one son, Floyd of Phoenixville, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Joan) Crook of Calif.; five grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Walter of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Mrs. George Maulbetsch and Mrs. Joseph Lindemann both of Ann Arbor; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Muehlig Chapel with the Dr. Theodore L. Trost officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Heart Association. Friends may call at the chapel.
