Presbyterian Conference To Be Here
1913 The second annual National Presbyterian Conference on the Holy Spirit is being sponsored by the Charismatic Communion of Presbyterian Ministers and held at St. Mary's Chapel here Monday through Thursday.
It is being hosted by the local Word of God Community and several of its members who staff the Charismatic Renewal Services Conferences.
More than 200 clergymen are expected to attend, according to community members.
Among speakers at the four-day conference will be:
--Lord George MacLeod, founder and leader of the Iona Community in Scotland.
-Robert C. Whitaker, minister of Community and World Mission at Glendale Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles.
-Leonard H. Evans, pastor of the Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church in Niles, Ohio.
-J. Rodman Williams, president of the Melodyland Schools of the Bible in Anaheim, Calif.
--Earl Wesley Morey Jr., senior minister at St. Giles Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Va.
- James Fesperman, president of The Inn of the Last Resort in Franklin, N.C.
