Singer Corp. has completed negotiations with Omnitext, Inc.

Singer Corp. has completed negotiations with Omnitext Inc., a locally based company, for exclusive world-wide marketing rights to the Omnitext graphic arts video editing terminal. 

Omnitext President Charles Newman said, “We are very pleased with our agreement. It places us far ahead of schedule and significantly in a growth phase which was projected for fiscal year 1975. The equipment sales volume for this year alone means more than $1 million of business for us.

“We are presently planning a larger facility in the area to meet the increased manufacturing requirements and also facilitate the final development of our recently demonstrated work processing product.” Omnitext is a two-year-old Ann Arbor-based company in the graphic arts and word processing business. It is located at 117 N. First St.
