(formerly of Ann Arbor) —

Age 70, passed away early, this morning, July 25 at the Chelsea Medical Center after a long illness. He was born Sept. 14, 1902 in Ishpeming, Mich., the son of Henry and Matilda Osier Lirette. Mr. Lirette was an Ann Arbor resident most of his life prior to moving to Florida four years ago. He married Clesta McFarlane Sept. 3, 1919. He had formerly been employed by Sears Robuck here in Ann Arbor and had been a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and a former member of the Elks Lodge No. 325. Survivors besides his wife include one daughter; Mrs, Robert (Nancy) Kirkham of Ann Arbor, one grandson; Robert John Kirkham, two granddaughters; Deborah and Rebecca Kirkham, two brothers; Robert and George, both, of Ann Arbor, three sisters: Mrs. Charles Sauer of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Loretta Wirth of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Earl Hill of South Haven, Mich., several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with burial in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Chelsea Medical Center.
