Age 80, passed away yesterday afternoon, January 29, 1974, following a sudden heart attack. He was born October 20, 1893 in Brooklyn, Mich., the son of Charles E. and Alice Selleck Schrepper. He married Irene Stuart June 28, 1922 in Ypsilanti and she survives. Mr. Schrepper owned and operated his own electrical contracting firm in Ypsilanti for over 50 years. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, a veteran of WWI, Past Commander of American Legion Post 282 of Ypsilanti and a long time member of the Washtenaw Country Club. Survivors in addition to his wife include: one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Joan) Leininger of Royal Oak; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Eaton of Lake Wales, Fla., Mrs. Claudia Lodge of St. Croix, Virgin Islands. A daughter, Janet preceded him in death on December 26, 1941. Two nephews also survive. The Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Johns Catholic Church with burial following in St. Johns Cemetery. A Rosary Scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Johns Catholic Church. Those wishing, may contribute to St. Johns Catholic Church Memorial Fund in Mr. Schrepper's name. Envelopes are available at the Moore Memorial Chapel where friends may call from 7 p.m. today through 6 p.m. Thursday and at the church on Thursday from 7 p.m. until the time of services.
