Must Come Down?
Workmen (top photo) scurry to make repairs on the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital’s ferris wheel-like structure which broke down Thursday. The facility was expected to be back in operation today. Four of the eight cars marooned beyond the reach of their drivers are visible in the picture at left. It was the first breakdown of the facility which was installed last October at the rear of the hospital's N. Ingalls Street parking lot in an effort to relieve cramped parking conditions.
