The extension department of the Ann Arbor Public Library, as part of its Summer Outreach Program, is now running eight school libraries, each for two hours per week. They will be open until Aug. 16.
Each library will have an adult browsing collection, material for children and young people, and a story time for younger children.
The program will be held at EberWhite on Mondays from 1 to 3 p.m.; at Dicken on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon; at Allen from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, and Lakewood on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.; at Northside from I to 3 p.m. on Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to noon at Lawton on Thursday; and at Thurston on Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon.
The story time will be held at 11 a.m. in schools which are open in the morning, and at 1 p.m. at schools which are open in the afternoon.
