Eisenhower Parkway Paved
The section of Eisehower Parkway between Hayes Court in the Georgetown subdivision at the bottom of this photo and State Street which runs across the top of the picture has been almost completely paved. A small section of the parkway is scheduled to open in September. The road which begins at the right side in the middle of the photo is Industrial Highway. The bridge crosses over the Ann Arbor Railroad tracks. The high rise building on the left is the Wolverine tower office building and the one on the right is the Bechtel Power Corp. office building. The Briarwood Shopping Center is behind Wolverine Tower in the upper left hand corner of the picture. (News Heli-photo by Dale Fisher)
