Gosling, Glenn Donald

Age 65, died Saturday, November 9, 1974, at his home of an unexpected illness. Born September 29, 1909 in Overisel, Mich., he was the son of Edward and Gena Gosling. He was married to the late Laura Marshall Gosling. Glenn Gosling was the Director of the University of Michigan Press from 1962-1972 and Consultant to the Rackham School of Graduate Studies from 1972 until his retirement this September. Survivors include: a daughter, Anne; a brother, Dwight of Grand Rapids; and sisters, Gladys Brishee of Detroit, Pauline Gorter, Janet Gosling, Evelyn Happie and Huldah Manning, all of Grand Rapids. There will be a memorial service at the Friends Meeting House, 1420 Hill St., at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 17. Memorial contributions may be made to Project GROW, 1343 Ardmoor, Ann Arbor, 48103.
